Woven wire mesh are normally described using its mesh count and wire thickness.
The wire mesh count is the number of wires per square inch. And the wire thickness is in mm.  For example a  10# .56 (the # stands for mesh), means 10 horizontal wires per inch and 10 vertical wires per inch. This mesh count gives 100 apertures (holes) per square inch.
As the woven mesh count goes up the wire thickness tends to decrease keeping the open area between 40 and 60 percent. If you look at the wire mesh chart there are examples that fit outside these open areas.  The smallest aperture we stock is 0.025 or 25 microns, this is on the wire mesh count 500# .025.

Woven wire meshes are often called knitted wire screen or fine wire meshes.
We sell knitted wire meshes by the square meter. The roll is 1.2m wide and we sell this as a length off the roll. Hence a 1m length would be 1.2 square meters.  When you find the mesh count and material you require then input the square meters in the quantity box at the end of the chart. It will give you a price which you can send to the shopping basket. All the fine wire meshes are normally in stock, the lead time is 2-5 days.
